5 asparagus stalks, 1 tbs light soy sauce and 1 tbs olive oil. Salt and black pepper to taste
Trim the asparagus' tough ends. Slice to 1-inch lengths. For thicker pieces, slice them into halves-lengthwise. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add asparagus and stir. Cover and cook for 5 mins, stirring occasionally. Add soy sauce and mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the asparagus slices turn bright green and fork-tender. Serve as a side.
