Must Have in the Kitchen
Since I moved out from home and started living independently, I've realized the importance of basic kitchen necessities. Here's my list of must have, in no particular order....
Spices and dry goods:
Rice, instant noodles, pasta noodles, spices such as black peppercorns, dried basil, dried oregano, chili flakes, curry powder (Adabi brand!), fried shallots, salt, coffee, hot cocoa powder
Utensils and Appliances:
Spatula, sauce pan, pot, ladle, tongs, sharp knife, cutting board, whisk, measuring cups and spoons, baking sheet, muffin pan, bread pan, toaster, hand mixer, slow cooker, plate, mug, fork, spoon and knife, sharp pair of kitchen shears
Cooking essentials:
Extra virgin olive oil, vegetable oil, garlic, onions
Things in the fridge:
Butter, oyster sauce, soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, Worchestershire sauce, lemon juice, eggs, nuts like walnuts, almonds and pecans, ice, blackberry jam
Baking goods:
Flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, chocolate chips
