Grilled Spicy Pork Tenderloin

I really enjoy this 30 mins recipe. It came about when I wanted to grill pork tenderloin. I read and heard stories of how this part of the pig can easily dry out so I researched a little to ensure it won't do that. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my roommate and I did.


1 pork tenderloin (2 lbs), 4 tbs brown sugar, 1 tbs cayenne powder, 1 tbs smoked paprika, 1 tbs chili powder, 0.5 tsp salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder and 2 tsp black pepper


1. Remove excess fat from pork tenderloin

2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl

3. Place meat in a large plastic bag. Rub the dry mixture all over the meat. Let it marinade for 10 to 15 mins

4. Heat up a cast iron grill. When the grill is hot, place the meat and cook 5 mins per side (20 mins in total)

5. Ensure the internal meat temperature is ~160 degF. If it is not, place the meat along with the cast iron grill in a 350 degF oven for another 5 to 10 mins until the internal meat temperature is achieved

6. Let the meat rest for 5 to 10 mins before slicing and serving
